Edward D. McLiney, Chairman of McLiney And Company, began as an investment banker in 1984. He currently runs the firm's public finance department. He and his brother, Joey, are the lead managers for the majority of the firm's negotiated underwritings. Mr. McLiney has devoted his entire career to the assistance of rural communities with the single focus of providing economic services to communities that would otherwise go without. The challenge of providing financing and financial techniques to communities with limited resources has led Mr. McLiney to innovate outside of the norms of municipal finance.
